Questions
Do my visitors need an app or an account?
No. They scan the QR code with their phone camera and get a small web page: ring you, download your PDF, or leave a message. Nothing to install, nothing to sign up for.
What if I can’t answer right away?
The visitor sees the ring status while waiting for your reply. If you don’t reply within a few minutes, the page offers them the message form instead — so they can leave their question and contact details.
Do I need Telegram?
No — e-mail works on its own. Telegram is the fastest option: the alert pops up on your lock screen with one-tap reply buttons.
My poster is already printed. Can I still use it?
Yes. Print the A5 sign PosterBell makes for you and pin it next to your poster. For your next poster, you can put the QR code straight into the design — PNG or SVG, in your poster’s colours.
Does it work on crowded conference Wi-Fi?
Yes. The visitor page is a few kilobytes — no frameworks, no trackers — and it keeps working on slow mobile data and roaming.
What does it cost?
Nothing, while PosterBell is in beta. We are exploring optional paid features, but have not set their pricing or details.
What happens to my visitors’ data?
Messages are stored so authors can read and answer them. After 90 days, authors choose whether to retain existing messages. See our privacy notice for details. No analytics services, no ads, no tracking of visitors.
